Wedding at Hawaii Kai & the Spitting Cave
Matthew Kent
We all know how magical weddings can be. But we're also familiar with the stress weddings can put on couples, especially when plans change last minute, and schedules run behind. So it was not only a surprise, but a joy to work with Kailey and Vincent. Everyone stayed cool (metaphorically) and fun the entire day, and it showed.
Kailey and Vincent's getting ready took place at the beautiful Grand Waikikian. It was my first time photographing there, and is definitely on my recommendation list. The hotel staff was prompt and courteous, and the room our couple booked was large and really well lit by the sun (extremely important for photo/video).
While Vincent comes off kind of tough and quiet, once he was on the couch with his toddler, the toughness quickly transformed into silly faces, which is where I'm guessing their oldest daughter gets her silliness from. What a way to celebrate their big day, with their 2 adorable daughters in tow, and their oldest uttering giggly phrases like "My flowers are here!! MY FLOWERS ARE HERE!!!". She'll definitely cherish and remember the day her parents got married for the rest of her life.
Kailey and Vince, thank you guys for being so awesome and choosing us as your wedding vendors. You folks were down for anything we suggested, had a bunch of fun ideas yourselves, and were really great to work with. Congrats again on tying the not, and may there be many more happy and fun filled years ahead for you and your family!
